Support Imam Khalil's Wrongful Termination at Hackensack Meridian Hospital
Join us in signing the petition advocating for justice and equality for Imam Khalil Adem. Imam Khalil, who also served as an Administrative Supervisor/Assistant Nurse Manager at Hackensack Meridian, was recently dismissed due to his religious beliefs and his stance on Israeli Zionism.
On August 23, Imam Khalil delivered a khutbah at his mosque, shedding light on the inhumane suffering of Palestinians under a brutal Israeli regime. During his sermon, he explicitly clarified that his words were not directed against Jewish people but against Zionists who, in the name of Judaism, perpetuate violence and bloodshed.
Unfortunately, the recording of this sermon was misused by organizations like MEMRI an anti-Islamic group and others such as the RAIR Foundation to launch a smear campaign against him. Imam Khalil had been a dedicated employee at Hackensack Meridian for over a decade, with an impeccable record and outstanding performance evaluations. His dismissal is an unjust response to his religious beliefs and his advocacy for global reform.
This is a clear act of injustice, and we need your support to address it. Stand with us in defending Imam Khalil's rights by signing the petition and taking action. Together, we can make a difference !

Talking points/ Writing points:
For over ten years, Khalil Adem has never received a single complaint from his Jewish colleagues or patients. In fact, as a manager, he consistently treated everyone with respect accomdating their schedules, celeberating their milestones and honoring their holidays. Jewish nurses have frequently praised and thanked Khalil for his support and dedication over the years. These defamatory claims that he is antisemetic are baseless and have been propagated by hate groups intent on tarnishing Imam Khalil’s reputation.
